Ingredients

  • 2 lb. pinto beans
  • 2 lb. ground meat
  • 2 cans taco sauce
  • 1 can roasted green chilies
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • 2 large onions
  • 4 garlic buds

Instructions

  1. Cook the pinto beans until tender.
  2. Brown the ground meat in a skillet, then add taco sauce, roasted green chilies, tomatoes, chili powder, chopped bell pepper, cumin, diced onions, and minced garlic. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Combine the meat mixture with the cooked beans and simmer for one hour.
