Ingredients

  • 12 oz. can refried beans
  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 16 oz. jar salsa
  • shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • shredded Colby cheese

Instructions

  1. In a greased 9 x 13-inch pan, spread refried beans on the bottom.
  2. Spread cream cheese over the beans.
  3. Brown ground beef; drain and add taco seasoning mix.
  4. Spread the cooked ground beef over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Spread salsa over the beef layer.
  6. Top with shredded Monterey Jack and Colby cheese.
  7. Bake for 15 to 25 minutes at 350°F until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve with tortilla chips.
