Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 4 oz. chopped chilies
  • 1 1/4 c. 2% milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. Bisquick
  • 1 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef with chopped onion until browned; drain grease.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning mix and chopped chilies.
  3. Spread the beef mixture in a pie plate.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped chilies.
  5. In a bowl, beat milk, eggs, and Bisquick for 1 minute until well combined.
  6. Pour the batter over the beef mixture and chilies in the pie plate.
  7. Bake at 450°F for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven, top with tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
