Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground meat, fried
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 1 large onion, chopped fine and fried
  • 1 clove garlic or garlic salt
  • 1 c. meat juice or water
  • 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 large can olives (juice and all)
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 c. cornmeal

Instructions

  1. Put ground meat, corn, tomatoes, chopped fried onion, garlic or garlic salt, meat juice or water, chili powder, and olives (with juice) on the stove and heat, stirring often.
  2. Add milk, well-beaten eggs, and cornmeal to the mixture.
  3. If the mixture does not seem thick enough, add a little more cornmeal.
  4. Salt to taste.
  5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 375°F for one hour.
