Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 package Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Instructions

  1. Cream sugar and softened butter in a mixer bowl until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  3. Add coconut and flour; mix well.
  4. Add buttermilk and vanilla extract; mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour the mixture into the unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 to 40 minutes or until set.
