Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 small cans kidney beans
  • 1 large can tomato juice
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 large onion

Instructions

  1. Brown hamburger and chopped onion in a heavy pot.
  2. Add sugar, salt, and chili powder; stir.
  3. Add tomato juice and beans to the pot.
  4. Bring mixture to a boil and simmer briefly if desired.
