Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 sliced onions
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 medium can whole tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pan-fry ground beef until light brown in a skillet; drain excess fat.
  3. Add sliced onions and chopped green pepper; cook until onions are tender.
  4. Stir in whole tomatoes, uncooked rice, chili powder, salt, and pepper; heat until warm.
  5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  6. Cover and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.
