Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier texture, try adding Greek yogurt in place of sour cream. You can also use lime juice instead of lemon for a different flavor. If you have extra ingredients, consider adding corn or jalapeños for a kick. This dish can also be layered like a Seven Layer Fiesta Dip for a fun presentation.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this Tex Mex dish with Fritos or rounded nacho chips for a crunchy contrast. It pairs beautifully with Southwest Ruffle Salad for a complete meal. You can also offer fresh salsa or guacamole on the side for added flavor and variety.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, microwave in short intervals, stirring occasionally, until warmed through. Note that the texture may change slightly due to the nature of the ingredients, especially the avocados.
