Ingredients
- 8 oz. wide or lasagna noodles ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper ⓘ
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 tablespoons butter ⓘ
- 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup ⓘ
- 1/3 cup milk ⓘ
- 1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms ⓘ
- 1/2 cup pimento
- 1/2 teaspoon basil ⓘ
- 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese ⓘ
- 3 cups diced cooked chicken ⓘ
- 2 cups grated processed cheese ⓘ
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese ⓘ
Instructions
- Saute the green pepper and onion in butter until tender.
- Stir in the condensed cream of chicken soup, milk, sliced mushrooms, pimento, and basil.
- Place half of the cooked noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Cover with half of the mushroom sauce, cottage cheese, cooked chicken, and grated cheeses.
- Repeat with the remaining noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, chicken, and cheeses.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until bubbly and golden.
