Ingredients

  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large can cream-style corn
  • salt and pepper
  • 4 tomatoes, sliced
  • buttered crumbs

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped green pepper and onions in butter until tender.
  2. Add ground beef; cook until browned.
  3. Place alternate layers of meat mixture and cream-style corn in a buttered baking dish, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
  4. Arrange sliced tomatoes over the top of the layered mixture.
  5. Cover with buttered crumbs.
  6. Bake at 350°F until crumbs are browned.
