Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 bunch romaine lettuce, torn
  • 1/2 bunch butter lettuce, torn
  • 1/2 bunch leaf lettuce, torn
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin orange slices, drained
  • 1 c. seedless red grapes, halved
  • 1/3 c. chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. In a screw top jar, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, crushed garlic, salt, and brown sugar.
  2. Cover the jar and shake until the ingredients are well blended.
  3. Chill the dressing until ready to serve.
  4. Toss torn romaine, butter lettuce, and leaf lettuce in a large bowl.
  5. Add drained mandarin orange slices, halved red grapes, and chopped walnuts.
  6. Pour the chilled dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
