  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Stir in the milk, oil, and egg until just combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 450°F for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
