Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • pinch of red pepper
  • green chile (optional)
  • 1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/4 c. melted margarine

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef, chopped onion, and taco seasoning in a skillet; drain well.
  2. Pour the melted margarine into the prepared biscuit mix and stir until combined.
  3. Spread the drained beef mixture in a large casserole pan.
  4. Spread the biscuit mix over the top of the beef mixture to the edges of the pan.
  5. Bake until the crust is golden brown.
