Tips & Substitutions

For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with lentils or black beans. You can also add diced bell peppers for more flavor. Adjust the spice level by adding more or less taco seasoning. Using tomato juice instead of diced tomatoes can give a smoother texture. This recipe pairs well with Over The Top Nachos for a fun twist.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the taco soup hot with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of grated cheddar cheese on top. It pairs wonderfully with corn chips for added crunch. Consider serving it alongside a fresh salad or the Mexican Cheese Dip(Microwave) for a complete meal that everyone will love.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftover taco soup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply warm it on the stove over medium heat, adding a splash of water if it thickens too much. You can also microwave it in a microwave-safe bowl, covering it to prevent splatters.
