Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans creamed corn
  • 1/2 to 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. spiral noodles
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a 10-inch skillet; drain off fat.
  2. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, creamed corn, chopped bell pepper, chopped onion, chili powder, and cayenne pepper to the beef. Simmer over medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, fill a 2-quart saucepan half full of water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
  4. Add spiral noodles to boiling water; boil for 10 minutes.
  5. Drain the noodles.
  6. Remove meat mixture from heat and pour into a large casserole dish.
  7. Pour the cooked noodles over the meat mixture and mix well.
  8. Cover and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle grated Cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
