Ingredients

  • 12 tomatoes
  • 3 onions
  • 6 sweet peppers
  • 3 hot peppers
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups vinegar
  • 1 box pickling spice tied in cloth

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large pot.
  2. Cook until the onions are tender and the flavors meld, about 1 hour.
  3. Seal the hot relish into sterilized jars while still hot.
