A vibrant and refreshing tomato salad infused with fresh basil, seasoned rice vinegar, and oregano, perfect for light lunches or as a side for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 5 to 7 tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • fresh basil to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 5 Tbsp. seasoned rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Slice and peel 5 to 7 tomatoes.
  2. Add salt to taste.
  3. Tear fresh basil into small pieces and add to the tomatoes.
  4. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 2 tablespoons olive oil, and 5 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar.
  5. Pour the dressing over the tomatoes and basil, and toss gently to combine.
