Ingredients

  • 6 fillets of fish (preferably walleye)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups grated cheese (Cheddar, etc.)
  • 1 (8 oz.) fresh mushrooms, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, and grated cheese.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Place the fish fillets on top of the mixture in the baking pan.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes until the fish is cooked through and the top is bubbly and golden.
