- Combine water, butter, salt, and flour in a microwavable bowl and cook for about 1 minute or until the ingredients form a smooth ball when stirred.
- Let the mixture stand for 3 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, until smooth.
- Spread the batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Bake at 400° for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack.
- In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, pudding mix, and cold milk until smooth.
- Spread the pudding mixture over the cooled pastry base.
- Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until set.
- Spread with Cool Whip and refrigerate until set.
- Just before serving, drizzle with chocolate syrup.
