Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb ricotta cheese or small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 lb bacon (1-inch pieces)
  • 10 oz frozen green peas
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Cooked and drained pasta or flat noodles

Instructions

  1. Put ricotta cheese in a serving bowl and crumble with a fork.
  2. Add melted butter and cooked noodles; toss 2 to 3 times.
  3. Cook bacon in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat until crisp.
  4. Add green peas and sauté for 2 minutes; drain excess fat.
  5. Add bacon and peas to noodles and toss.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  7. Toss again and serve immediately.
