Ingredients

  • 1 head lettuce
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 4 carrots
  • 5 stalks celery
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 (16 oz.) plastic bottle salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Wash all vegetables thoroughly.
  2. Tear the lettuce into pieces and place into a clean, doubled 4-gallon plastic garbage bag.
  3. Chop tomatoes, carrots, celery stalks, cucumbers, and green peppers.
  4. Add the chopped vegetables to the lettuce in the bag.
  5. Pour sunflower seeds and salad dressing into the bag.
  6. Seal the bag with a twist tie, then gently toss to combine by playing catch.
  7. Serve the salad directly from the bag.
