- Brown the ground beef; drain excess fat.
- Stir in canned chopped tomatoes, picante sauce, ground cumin, and salt; simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates.
- Cover the bottom and sides of a 14-inch pizza pan with tortillas; spread the meat mixture evenly over the tortillas.
- Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with one cup of shredded cheese; return to the oven until the cheese is melted.
- Arrange shredded lettuce, remaining cheese, chopped tomato, and sliced avocado over the top.
- Cut into wedges and serve with additional picante sauce.
