Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 medium onions
  • 5 large potatoes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 tsp sage

Instructions

  1. Mix dough for 2 double crust pies; roll out.
  2. Cook ground pork and beef over low heat in a greased pot.
  3. Add mashed potatoes, chopped or grated onions, salt, pepper, and sage to the meat and mix well.
  4. Place the meat and potato mixture between raw crusts in 2 separate pie dishes or pans.
  5. Bake at 400°F for about 1 hour or until done.
