Triple Layer Jello Mold

Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) package orange jello
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
  • 1 cup fresh, frozen or canned peaches, sliced

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the orange jello in boiling water.
  2. Add cold water and almond extract (optional). Chill until slightly thickened, about 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Measure 1/3 cup of the thickened jello and pour into a 4-cup mold. Chill for about 5 minutes.
  4. Mix 3/4 cup of the remaining jello with 1 1/2 cups of Cool Whip.
  5. Carefully spoon this mixture into the mold. Chill for about 5 minutes.
  6. Add sliced peaches to the remaining jello and then carefully spoon into the mold.
  7. Chill the mold for 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Dip the container into warm water to unmold.
  9. Garnish with remaining Cool Whip and additional fruit before serving.
