Troy'S Turtle Cake
A rich, indulgent chocolate cake layered with caramel, nuts, and chocolate chips, perfect for sharing at celebrations or satisfying a decadent dessert craving.

Instructions
- Melt the package of caramels with 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk.
- Mix the German chocolate cake mix with margarine and 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
- Spread less than half of the batter evenly into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake for 6 minutes at 350°F (175°C), then remove from the oven.
- Sprinkle the batter with nuts if using.
- Spread the melted caramel mixture over the partially baked batter.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the caramel layer.
- Mix the remaining batter with 3 tablespoons of water and spread evenly over the chocolate chips.
- Bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes at 350°F (175°C), or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool before serving.
