Ingredients

  • 1 pie shell
  • 1 can solid white tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
  • 1 can condensed Cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. crushed tarragon
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Press the pie shell into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  2. Combine the drained and flaked tuna with the finely chopped onions and spread in the bottom of the pie shell.
  3. In a bowl, stir the condensed Cheddar cheese soup until smooth.
  4. Gradually blend in flour until well incorporated.
  5. Add the eggs, milk, crushed tarragon, and pepper; mix well.
  6. Pour the mixture over the tuna layer in the pie shell.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until set and golden.
