Ingredients

  • 14 oz. can salmon or tuna
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
  • hot oil

Instructions

  1. Drain fish, reserving 1/4 cup liquid.
  2. Put fish into a bowl and break apart.
  3. Add flour and slightly beaten egg to the fish.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add baking powder to the reserved liquid and beat with a fork until foamy.
  6. Pour the foamy liquid into the fish mixture.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture into hot oil and cook until brown.
