Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb. turkey, sliced thin
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 4 tsp. hickory salt or liquid smoke
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Place strips of turkey in marinade of soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, hickory salt or liquid smoke, and brown sugar for 6 hours.
  2. Drain the turkey strips, but do not rinse.
  3. Place the meat on foil in the center of the oven.
  4. Set the oven to 200°F (93°C).
  5. Place a wedge in the oven door (clothespin will work) to keep it slightly open.
  6. Bake for 10 hours or until the meat turns a dirty brown.
  7. Check the meat after 2 hours.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
