Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) Italian-style stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar sliced mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 6 oz uncooked thin broken spaghetti

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except spaghetti in the slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until vegetables are tender.
  3. Turn to high. Stir in the uncooked spaghetti.
  4. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Stir again, then cover and cook for an additional 45 minutes or until pasta is tender.
  6. Garnish with basil and bell pepper strips before serving.
