Tuscan Pasta
A hearty Tuscan-inspired chicken pasta with rich tomato flavors, savory vegetables, and tender spaghetti, perfect for comforting family dinners or casual gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1 inch pieces ⓘ
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce ⓘ
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) Italian-style stewed tomatoes ⓘ
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped ⓘ
- 4 cloves garlic, minced ⓘ
- 1 jar sliced mushrooms ⓘ
- 1 green pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning ⓘ
- 6 oz uncooked thin broken spaghetti ⓘ
Instructions
- Place all ingredients except spaghetti in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until vegetables are tender.
- Turn to high. Stir in the uncooked spaghetti.
- Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
- Stir again, then cover and cook for an additional 45 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Garnish with basil and bell pepper strips before serving.
