Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bay scallops
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. minced celery leaves
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half or milk
  • 1 package chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 4 Tbsp. chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir in mushroom stems and scallops; cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle in flour; stir until it disappears.
  4. Gradually add half and half or milk; cook and stir until the mixture becomes saucy.
  5. Stir in seasonings and mushroom caps; simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Serve over cooked linguine pasta.
