Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 stick oleo, melted and cooled
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 8 oz. cream cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Mix together the yellow cake mix, eggs, and melted cooled oleo until the dough is very stiff.
  3. Spread the dough in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
  4. Sprinkle the chopped pecans evenly over the dough.
  5. Beat together the cream cheese, remaining oleo, and eggs until smooth.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the uncooked cake in the pan.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, avoiding overcooking.
