Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine
  • 3 c. oats or wheat
  • 1/2 c. peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, cocoa, milk, and butter or margarine in a saucepan.
  2. Stir well until combined.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  4. Boil for one minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add oats or wheat and peanut butter.
  7. Stir until well mixed.
  8. Drop quickly onto waxed paper to set.
