Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked ham, chunked
  • 4 tablespoons oleo
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups Velveeta cheese
  • 1 package noodles, cooked
  • 4 quarts mashed potatoes
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 package browned and crumbled bacon
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine cooked ham, oleo, chopped onion, and Worcestershire sauce in a skillet and cook until onions are soft.
  2. Place the cooked ham mixture in the bottom of a roaster or baking dish.
  3. In a saucepan, heat together cream of mushroom soup, milk, and Velveeta cheese until the cheese melts and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Pour the cheese sauce over the cooked noodles and ham mixture in the roaster.
  5. Mash the potatoes and mix in sour cream and some milk until smooth.
  6. Spread the mashed potatoes over the top of the noodle and ham mixture.
  7. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the mashed potatoes.
  8. Bake in an oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
