Ingredients

  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 oz. melted butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Place greased muffin pan in hot oven. Beat sugar and egg together.
  3. Add flour, milk, baking powder, butter and vanilla.
  4. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Fill hot pans full and bake 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Yields 18 muffins.
