Ingredients

  • 2 large potatoes
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 cups chopped cooked ham
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the sliced potatoes, onion, carrots, and chopped cooked ham in a 2-quart baking dish.
  2. Combine the undiluted cream of celery soup, milk, and a dash of pepper to make the sauce.
  3. Pour half of the sauce over the layered vegetables and ham.
  4. Add the remaining vegetables and ham as the next layer.
  5. Top with the remaining sauce.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 375°F for 1 hour.
  7. Remove the foil and sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
