Vegetable Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, sliced, rings separated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 c. Miracle Whip
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 can (13 3/4 oz.) beef broth
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. browning agent, flavor enhancer (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. fresh or frozen cut up vegetables
  • 2 cans (4 oz. each) mushrooms, drained
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • hot cooked noodles

Instructions

  1. Brown meat with onion and garlic; drain.
  2. Mix dressing and flour; gradually stir in broth, Worcestershire sauce, browning agent/flavor enhancer and pepper.
  3. Pour over meat mixture; simmer 5 minutes.
  4. Add vegetables and mushrooms; cover.
  5. Continue simmering 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in sour cream and serve over.
  7. Makes 6 servings.
