Instructions
- Rinse and soak beans overnight.
- Combine beans, bone and water in large Dutch oven.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; cover and simmer 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
- Remove ham and bone.
- Chop ham and add ham and remaining ingredients to beans.
- Simmer 30 minutes.
