Ingredients

  • 2 plum tomatoes, cored
  • 2 scallions, including green parts
  • 1 green pepper, cored and seeded
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled, halved and seeded
  • 1 carrot, peeled
  • 1 stalk celery, leaves removed
  • 2 cups tomato juice
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • dash of Tabasco sauce

Instructions

  1. Chop all vegetables and puree them in a blender.
  2. With the motor running, gradually add tomato juice and continue processing until smooth.
