Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped fresh broccoli or cauliflower or both
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 4 oz shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup Bisquick
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Grease a pie plate.
  2. Cook the vegetables until tender.
  3. Drain the vegetables thoroughly.
  4. Mix the cooked vegetables with shredded Cheddar cheese and pour into the prepared pie plate.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine milk, Bisquick, eggs, salt, and pepper, then mix well.
  6. Pour the batter over the vegetables in the pie plate.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 40 minutes or until set and golden brown.
  8. Serve hot or cold.
