- Heat the refried beans until warm.
- On a large platter, layer the tortilla chips.
- Spread the heated refried beans over the chips.
- Add shredded lettuce on top.
- Sprinkle chopped tomatoes and chopped onion over the lettuce.
- Sprinkle half of the grated Monterey Jack cheese over the toppings.
- Add salsa over the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Place the assembled nachos in the broiler for 2 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles.
