Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. chopped green onions
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. bottled steak sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 (11 oz.) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 3 c. hot mashed potatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, green onions, milk, steak sauce, beaten egg, and salt in a medium bowl; mix well.
  3. Divide the meat mixture into 6 equal portions and place each into a greased 6-ounce glass custard cup.
  4. Pat the meat mixture against the bottom and sides of each cup.
  5. Place the custard cups on a baking pan.
  6. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Pour off drippings from each cup.
  8. Top each with a spoonful of condensed Cheddar cheese soup, then spread a layer of mixed vegetables on top.
  9. Spoon hot mashed potatoes over the vegetable layer to cover completely.
  10. Optional: Bake for an additional 10 minutes to heat through and brown slightly.
