Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups oats
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, margarine, egg, vanilla, oats, flour, and walnuts. Blend well until the mixture is uniform.
  3. Roll the mixture into a log shape on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool before slicing into individual cookies.
