Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Add milk and shredded Cheddar cheese, mixing as little as possible to combine.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a greased baking sheet with sides.
  5. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes at 450°F until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm.
