- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Add eggs, salt, sugar, melted and cooled butter, and 2 cups of flour. Beat until smooth.
- Add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
- Turn the dough onto a floured board and knead until smooth and elastic, about 6 to 8 minutes.
- Put the dough in a greased bowl and turn once to grease the top.
- Let the dough rise until doubled in size.
- On a lightly floured board, roll out the dough to fit a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Place the dough in the prepared pan.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into 12 squares.
- Cover and let rise until doubled in size again.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
