Ingredients

  • 3 cans Franco-American macaroni and cheese (14 3/4 oz. each)
  • 1 package frozen chopped spinach (10 oz.), thawed and thoroughly drained
  • 1 bunch small green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. sharp cheese, shredded
  • 2 cans onion rings for topping (2.8 oz. each)

Instructions

  1. Mix the three cans of macaroni and cheese, thawed and drained chopped spinach, chopped green onions, and shredded sharp cheese thoroughly.
  2. Chill the mixture thoroughly in the refrigerator.
  3. Place the chilled mixture into a lightly greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle a small amount of shredded cheese on top if desired.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until the casserole is firm.
  6. Add onion rings on top and continue baking until browned.
