Ingredients

  • 1 large can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 large can butter beans, drained
  • 1 large can pork and beans
  • 8 strips bacon
  • garlic powder to taste
  • 2 to 3 onions, cut into large pieces
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large baking dish, combine drained kidney beans, butter beans, and pork and beans.
  3. Cut bacon into pieces and add to the beans.
  4. Add garlic powder to taste, and include 2 to 3 large onions cut into large pieces.
  5. Sprinkle 1/2 to 3/4 cup of brown sugar over the mixture.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of vinegar into the dish.
  7. Add 1 teaspoon of prepared mustard.
  8. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  9. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 2 hours until bubbling and heated through.
