Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp. white sugar
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 3/4 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Sift all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add egg yolks and milk to the dry ingredients, and beat slowly until the batter is smooth.
  3. Stiffly beat the egg whites separately, then fold them into the batter along with the melted butter.
