Ingredients

  • 5 lb. pork, beef, etc., diced
  • 3 medium onions, diced
  • 2 jalapenos, chopped
  • 2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. comino
  • 5 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1 (303 size) can tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
  • 5 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 Tbsp. white pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the meat in bacon drippings.
  2. Add tomato sauce and seasonings to the meat.
  3. Add enough water to reach the desired consistency.
  4. Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. For a spicier flavor, simmer longer.
