Ingredients

  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 pounds ground walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 2/3 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the dry yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
  2. Mix the yeast mixture with 4 cups flour, 4 egg yolks, 1/2 pound butter, 3/4 cup milk, and 1/2 cup sugar until well combined.
  3. Divide the dough into six balls.
  4. Wrap each ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for one hour in a greased pan.
