Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons orange rind
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 13 ounces canned pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup peach slices, drained
  • 11 ounces canned mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup pear slices, drained
  • 10 maraschino cherries
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan or chafing dish, combine margarine, powdered sugar, cornstarch, orange rind, orange juice, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
  3. Stir in the drained pineapple chunks, peach slices, mandarin oranges, and pear slices.
  4. Simmer just until the fruit is warmed through.
  5. Serve warm.
